What should a fan be?

I know thousands of young people are fans of differnt stars. I have been wondering whether a middle-age woman can be a fan of Westlife. Is it incridible that a woman in such an age should love those young handsome guys? Is she carzy?

A fan can be anyone.. Man, woman or child. Depends on the what the person likes.. and it doesn't make them crazy.. I am a big fan of johnny depp.. I love his acting.. and hey He is hott to.. and i don't think age is as anything to do with it..

Hey I'm 55 years old and absolutely crazy about Johnny Depp. Nothing wrong with a bit of healthy fan worship at any age :-)

In my opinion fans need not love the stars. It is admiration is it not? See for example I am 57 years old and I love Harry Potter books, Potter movies and it's actors Daniel Radcliff, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint etc. I have their photoes on the system. It does not mean that I love them all. I admire their acting skills and the characters in the book and movie.
