Saving a few cents here and there can save you lots of money. You'll be surprise at how much you've save in the long run. One of the most overlooked way of saving a few money is taking advantage of coupons store sales and rebates. Using coupons can be time-consuming-what with the scanning the Sunday newspaper or websites and printing or clipping coupons before actually using it. Filling rebates is also time-consuming and requires patience in following the tedious instructions. This is the primary concern of most shoppers who find that a few cents or dollars is not worth the time and effort one puts in using coupons and rebates. I've once read about a freelance writer's experience in taking advantage of in-store sale and coupons. She paid only more than half of her total grocery bill. Now were talking of huge savings and not cents. One gets her supply of toiletries for free and even manage to send some of it to friends and charity. That made me wish we have these kind of money saving opportunities in the Philippines. If we do, then I'd be happily clipping coupons every Sunday. For those living in places where coupons and rebates are available, do you take advantage of it or not?

I am terrible for this . I hate getting anything that comes with a rebate because I am the world's worst mailer . I always forget to mail them out . I get everything ready but never think to take it to the mail . I do use coupons when I have them on me but often I forget about them and only think about them on the days they are not with me . I love the idea but wish we could just grab them from in the store or something because I can never find them when I need them .

This is the problem of most shoppers. They tend to forgot mailing the rebate forms or bringing the clipped coupons to the store when shopping. Maybe you should mail the forms right away. And put your coupons in your wallet or shopping bag. That way the chances of forgetting about it is nil.

I do most of the clothes shopping when there is a good sale. I prefer 50% off on clothes and buy them at this cost only most of the times unless i have to buy them in an emergency. Coupons from news papers are of good help when it comes to grocery shopping. Groceries i go to shopping mall where there is a rebate. I would like to save few cents or dollars that way.

Using coupon and rebates is one of the BIG tips on saving money. I love using these marketing tactics to lighten my bills. I owe a lot of shopping cards, gas cards, and discount cards. I love using them as every money spent are rewarded by points which will later converted into money, free gift or more discounts.
