Do you keep your friends close and your enemies closer?

I am very close to my friends and honestly I don't keep my enemies closer, because I really don't like them. That is why they are my enemy, anyway maybe I should keep them close right? and get to know them more. I don't really have any enemies.
How about you do you believe in this old saying?

Jesus Christ told us to love your enemies, everybody should ask their conscience to check this and respond

No, I don't believe it. I do think you should keep an eye on anyone who sees you as an enemy though.

I don't believe in this saying either . I don't have anything to do with my enemies and they know who they are . I don't believe in keeping my enemies closer as this is just a way for them to get closer to you and then hurt you again .
I trust my friens and believe in giving everyone second chances but if someone continues to abuse my trust then I have nothing to do with them anymore .
