Why do people ride motor cycles

Even though it is know that a motorcylce is a two wheeled death trap why do people still ride them at high speeds. Actually why do people ride them at all????

I think that it might be because motorcycles are so much fun to ride! And there's that whole freedom feeling as you ride along with the wind flowing past you. It's just exciting.
