These two types of aircarfts represents two theories of aviation. Bigger aircrafts and less in number or smaller aircrafts large in number. Choice is yours.

Cabin of a Douglas DC-3 Airplane - image showing the cabin of the douglas DC-3 airplane, considered to be the safest airplane every built. It was small and could fly into just about any airport...long runway not needed.
To tell the truth I have never been on an Airbus and after reading about the accidents that have happened over the last few years if I ever have to travel by plane in the future I will do my best to find a flight that is not an Airbus. My favorite plane was DC-3....small and not so comfy but very reliable. Plus it was the biggest plane that could land on the airport near my hometown. Another plane I liked was the Learjet. It was an NBC plane heading back from Punta del Este where President Johnson had taken part in a summit. The pilot stopped off in Quito, Ecuador, to visit a friend of mine and he invited me to take a trip over the Andes to the northern part of the country. Would you believe it, he made a barrel roll over the snowcapped Andes. Wow...
