What new games are you interested in playing, what would you recommend?

I have recently read a post by Vega regarding the release of Vice City Stories and I have seen that later this year there will be a Grand Theft IV coming out. I was wondering if there were any particular games you recently found, or that are due to come out soon, looking for recommendations for good games.

Resident Evil for the Wii intrigues me. Other than that who knows. They are all flash no challenge games anymore.

I haven't really been playing games that long, I only started a couple of years ago. Even though I actually got the playstation2 and some games as a gift back in 2000. So for me there is still some challenge. But I have found that I am picky. I want some kind of decent story line, rather than just something that is say racing or spinning in circles. I liked Mafia, I liked Bully, and GTA3, GTASA, GTAVC, GTALCS, But that is all that I have really played so far. I have seen Hitman, doesn't really interest me, tried Sopranos, it is ok but bored me fairly quickly. I was disapointed.

Wow, a discussion with my name in it. Awesome!!! Well, yeah I've heard of the legendary GTA IV, it's supposed to be the best, with a game map bigger than San Andreas, just imagine, but I will have to get a new console for that, sadly it won't come out on the ps2, well these days I'm playing God of War, which is an action adventure like Prince of Persia, if you liked that one, then you'll probably like this one too. But I think you mainly prefer GTA type games, and unfortunately GTA is the only best one when it comes to those games. But I did recommend some other games to you before, GTA-like, did you try any of those yet? Or try some from the horror genre, like fatal frame, fahrenheit or haunting ground. Try something new, you might like it.

I do want to try the games you recommeneded in the past, and I just haven't had a chance yet, some health problems with inlaws caused an emergency out of state trip, and various other things, has delayed my budget. Now that the weather is warmer I am likely to want to get outside more as well, so short of moving my tv, ps2, and comfy chair outside my game time is on the down side. Though I do have a question for you, on Bully, how did you get the rubber band off the roof of the movie theater? I have tried to jump from one building to the other the game doesn't seem to let me do that, and that is the one thing keeping me from 100 percent.

I thought you already got 100%, well the movie theater rubber band, I don't even remember if I got it, but I think if theres' no ladders around, then try using a bike and find a ramp so that you can jump with your bike to the top off it. That's how the roof one's are possible if there's no other way to get them.

yea I finally got the 100 percent I jumped from the roof of the nearby building for some reason during the entire game that jump failed, but it finally worked when that was one of the last things I needed to do.

Gta series is surely the best of all and you seem to have good taste for games just like me. GTA IV will be coming out in mid october and its makers say the city in GTA IV will be 5 times larger than GTA San andreas. As you would know it will be out on PS3 so the graphics are going to be better for sure. Some screenshots too have been released as well by Rockstar recently and they look really awesome, just check out on their website. Some more games i would recommend - God of war 3 which will be out on PS3 around the same time as GTA IV. Tomb raider Anniversary is coming out soon so check it out. There's an already released game - Bully, its the school version of GTA with a few changes, its a likable game so check it out if you haven't already done yet.

I have done Bully, and I enjoyed it. Since these games are to me, now don't be to shocked, lol I was given playstation 2 in 2000, or 2001 can't remember for sure didn't touch it for two years, never even hooked it up. LOL then When I moved in with the person I am with now he hooked it up and I didn't play it for the first year or two lol then finally gave it a try, which caused a lot of laughs at first, since skill was not really there for me. So I kind of started with GTA3, and moved on from there. I have also played Mafia which was pretty good, I didn't like Hitman and never really finished it, the DaVinci code was rather easy, and just didn't seem the same to me. I haven't tried the Tomb Raider though I have the first one as it was one of the games given to me when I was given the playstation. I will have to check it out. That is the nice thing while I did see some promo for GTAIV and it looks really good and I look forward to seeing and playing the game at some point, I know there are still quite a few games for me to be able to play before I need to worry about upgrading to ps3. Bully was fairly decent and I enjoyed it, and I figure if it is successful enough that the character is young enough they can do a few more years of him at school which leaves them open to more Bully games. I remember reading an article where somewhere in Florida they were trying to ban the game from stores, seems just seeing the name bully on the game would incite children to behave like bullies, lol they didn't have to buy or play it, just seeing the game's title of Bully was going to cause children to behave badly. LOL
