I am a mommy on the go.. I work a full time job 40-50 hours a week and have two kids ages almost 4 and 9 months.. And, my husband works just as much. I am having big issues getting meals planned and ready.. any tips on how to make it work and any favorite recipes that are quick easy and nutritious for little ones?

An idea that I have heard a lot about, but I personally have never tried it is to cook some meals ahead on your day off and freeze them for use later in the week. Then all you have to do is take them out of the freezer and microwave and dinner is ready. I have coooked meat ahead of time that I know that I can use later in the week. I ike to grill chicken ahead and I have fixed hamburger that I can use later in the week in chili, hamburger helper,or stuff like that. My family doesn't like things heated up so I can't do the meal thing. I would if I could. Also, do you have a slow cooker? If so, put a roast and veggies in it and let it cook all day and you have a nice hot meal when you get home. It is nice when you come home very tired and you already have dinner waiting for you! I do this a lot especially in the winter time.
