I am challenging all mylotters to a little game to build up everyones discussions. I challenge everyone to make and effort to go into all discussion that have less than 30 responses and make a post to help them grow to some of the totals that i have seen on others. If ya like or dislike this idea or if you have something to add to this challenge please drop a post? Let me know what you think of this idea i believe it will be and incentive thing to work just a little bit harder cause it gives ya a goal of sorts. Lets have some fun with the mylotters.

Yes, I agree with the first posted response. Some of the discussion topics are not worthy of a response. Some are ridiculous and that is why they have little or no responses. There are over 89,000 people here in myLot. Even if only 1/3 of them post new discussion topics, it would be nearly impossible to respond to them all with a response that has good content. PEACE

I don't really see this as viable. There are quite a lot of discussions that are just useless or even stupid and deservedly have few if any responses. In terms of time it is also impractical as most people spend a limited amount of time here. I quite often check the 0 responses list and respond if I think it is worthwhile to do so. Good luck with your challenge.

yes i agree ... I just check post with no response then decide which one will I response. We need quality post/responses here not just for the heck of having so many post/responses

I think that this is a great challenge and it will certainly help other members receive more money as well I often do this to help other members I think that this is a fabulous way to help others build up their discussions and you never know what we will learn.

I happen to think it is a great idea. I have been responding to a lot of discussion with few replies. None of my discussions have received replies over 30. Are those who are saying that this is a bad idea saying my discussions are not worthy are replies?

I like your thinking Kat. It is true that some of the posts are not worth answering, but it is usually quite obvious. If we all made an effort to answer more of these posts, then maybe there would be less of a drop out right from myLot. Then there would probably be more money to go around for everyone. So helping others actually can help ourselves. That is what I think anyway and I think it is a good idea. :)

That is a very good point you are making i never thought about it but yeah it would lower the drop out rate cause new mylotters would not be so easily discouraged. Thanks for the post and the insight and i like how you think to. You will go far on mylot u have a good attitude for it.

You know what? I love your idea :) What we could do is form some sort of a support group, that would be great! We could even let the notifications on for all the members of this prestigeous group so no one is left out and that everyone has a fair share of responses.

Glad you liked my ideas. We could first get some members and then add each other as friends and then go to the friend's list and turn on notification so that as soon as one of our members opens a discussion, we can all get a notification in our e-mails and also what we could do is go to each others past discussions and answer as many as possible. And then you can open up a discussion and then we can compare our notes and give out further ideas and implement them. This way everyone benefits and no more discussions with "0" responses :)

You have some really good ideas as well. I believe we should do this up right it could really fly and if everyone gets involved lots of hands make light work. I also was thinking it would be neat for everyone who wants to do this to keep a sponsor sheet which i will post a discussion in a week or so to see how people are doing with this and they can recall there sheets i have started mine i list the person and all the response i make to there under 30 discussion i have done some tonight. That way you can really see what you are doing for yourselves too. If you have anymore to add feel free i am up for it.

I don't often have that much time to spend on the site. This is my routine: First I check the responses to my discussions and respond to them if appropriate; then I respond to as many of my friends' discussions as I have anything to say about their subject; then, if I have more time, I will look for discussions that are one or two days old that have no responses and try to respond to any that I have interest in. I figure it encourages people to continue if they get at least one response to their discussion. I used to look at discussion of new users but I had trouble finding things that interested me. But if I have enough time I sometimes look there. I don't have a lot of new discussions to post myself. But I do like to share my thoughts on other's discussions.

you seem to be doing the right stuff though it all helps. you only have so many hours in the day and you do what you can right. Not everyone is like me and stays up half the night one this site either. I guess you could say i got meself addicted lol. Thanks for the post my friend and have a good day.

I would only do this if i found the topic interesting, as otherwise i wouldn't have anything interesting to add to the discussion, therefore nothing would be gained.

Haii friend, you have got a great idea. I think everybody on mylot needs some motivation. I still remmember my first few days on mylot when I was aiming for getting 10 responses to my discussion and I was very happy when I reached to 10 for each discussion I start. Now I get nearly 30 for each discussion I start and aiming for 50 for each discussion I start. You have got wonderful idea and I will try to follow it to motivate as many people as possible on mylot.

I think it's a good idea to do this in discussions that are worthy. I see a lot of worthy discussions that don't have a lot of responses and then I see discussions that aren't worthy that do. I know we all have busy schedules and the such, but it's always good to try. I'm off work today and after my errands I will be back online for a while, so I'm going to do some mylotting :) I enjoy it here and my one or two days a week that I don't have to work is my one or two days I spend some time here. I always try to respond as much as I can :)
