Do you scare thunder and lightning?

I don't like thunder and lightening either . I worry about fires as I have a friend where the lightening came into her house through and open window and lived through waking up and having our house on fire one night . I don't like the noise from the thunder and although I realize the thunder cannot harm you it is such a big boom and along with it comes lightening . I am fine when my husband is home but am especially nervous when I am home alone with the children . I always have a hard time sleeping at night and usually have to wait for it to pass by before I can get any sleep during the night . I would like to overcome this fear but it doesn't seem to get any better as I get older :)

LOL! i do scare but not when it is normal. At times there will be a sudden and huge thunder, that time i just get jerked but i dont go and hide like you. I come out to watch if it comes again. Actually i find it adventurous on such occasions :)

I can't say that I am. Although I used to have two dogs, one a doberman and the other a german short haired pointer that were terrified whenever it would thunder and lightning. The doberman would manage to wedge himself behind the toilet. And the german shorthaired pointer would jump into the bed eith us and stand across us. Getting back to me though I always enjoyed watching the lightning and hopefully if we get some good storms this year I can get some cool photo's.

I love storms. I love to watch the lightning shoot across the sky. They are so powerful I am in awe of their beauty. There is no freason to be scared. Thunder is nothing more than hot and cold air masses colliding together. Lightning should be respected but not feared. As long as you take the proper precautions a storm will not hurt you. Now if it is a tornado warning take cover immediately They are very fierce and dangerous.

Tunders and lightnings are truly scaring. when I was a child, they really send me running to my mother. . Today, I still am afraid of them although I have to be strong because my two kids are also equally afraid. I guess it's normal to be really frightened because sometimes the noise from thunder is really deafening!
