what do you do when you're trying to calm down from a hard day?

How do you get your stress relief? I have a few different things that I do after a hard day. Sometimes I'll just sit and listen to music and sing along (horribly). Other times I'll make myself actually go out, take a walk, breath fresh air and think of all the fun stuff I'll do in the future. The last thing I do if I'm feeling pretty lazy is I will go and have a sauna, read a book for an hour or so in there, and then take a bubble bath (to wash away all the sweat and smell nice again!).

have a fresh bath, walk down your favourite street, call one of your close friends whom we don't call by phone often, have the dinner outside

When I'm stressed and trying to calm down... hmmm... what do i do? First off, I find a friend to text with. Just someone to chat with. I sometimes listen to soothing music and play with my little girl. But most times that I am able to go out... I go to the spa and have a deep tissue massage.

Taking a warm bubble bath is a good idea. I like to light candles around the tub and listen to soft music. You are right, reading a book is a very good idea, especially if it is one of those books that are so good that you go away from where you are and feel like you are there with the charactors. I like to call friends and hear words of comfort after an especially hard day. Or you could sign on to Mylot and vent to us and read the feedback. sometimes, if you are angry behind a hard day, get one of those stress balls and squeeze them until you are tired. Vigorous exercise also works well. You'll be so tired when you are finished, you will crash.

I take a walk, take a nap, or play with my dogs.
