work harder or work smarter

most people work harder if they want more income. it is works. they gain more moey by work harder. buat some people think to work smarter, not harder. they made a system whick work for them, or thiy invest their money somewhere, so they don't have to work harder.
what do you think about both of that ?
which do you prefer ? work harder or work smarter ?

I think you need both in order to succeed. A little of working smart and a lot of working hard. You must be smart to make a business or investment but before you have the money to invest you must work hard to achieve it. I guess both of the key words works hand in hand. One needs the other and vice versa.

Both of them, you must smart you can be success and you must work harder to make more income.
Just combine both of them then you will get the best result.
The different is they work harder mean their physical work and smarter they use their brain to get more income, same meaning but with different way.

what I meant with hardworker is more like company's employee, not who do phisical work. they work harder to gain higher income and possition. and smartworker is someone who take another chance other than become an employee.
I think combine both of them is the best. good luck to you too friend :)

Hi ysunito, both hard work and working smart is needed to reach the specified goal but i prefer more of working in a smarter way. let us suppose that there are 20 people all are working hard to reach the top of the same business. all of them are using the same techniques given to them but if they continue the process they will take a lot of time because all are expert in the same field with the same techniques but if a person works in smarter way making things to work easier for him then he/she will reach the top without looking back. therefore i highly prefer working in a smarter way along with working hard.
