According to my frined, its a big NO...OFW's is an evident to this.. she added that the only reason why people still work here despite of the career and salary standing is the FAMILY....their families.. I totally agree with her statement because sometime ago i also had those desire to work abroad to uplift the life of my family(a family reason indeed). But on the other hand, the reason why i have choosen to stay here in my country its because i cannot imagine myself being away from my family that long, just imagine the two-three years contract i'll have without going home, seeing my parents and supervising their healths(again, my reason is my family)Family orientation and family ties are indeed my supreme reasons to both aspects... Government, together with its subordinates should really be thankful to our ancestors for upholding our dedication towards our families coz without that this country would be deserted most with competent people. Another point why i see that our career system is not adequate its because many of our people settles for the jobs that are not fitted for their qualifications because of the scarcity of available jobs... not many can get the right jobs for them and its really sad that many of the young graduates today opt to work abroad than work here to help lift up our economy... I guess its not anymore about the pay way these people prefers to work abroad, the reason is we lack jobs that will suit the qualifications of our graduates... or is it also because we lack qualified job seekers to fit in a decent high compensating job?

I agree, we Filipinos are so family oriented that we would rather stay than work somewhere else. Some do leave due to the lure of big earnings abroad, but somehow they come back after several years to be with their families once again. Of course, I agree too that scarcity of jobs here is another reason for the option to work abroad. Our government cannot generate enough jobs for our people. Our bloating bureaucracy is the result of this. It is so complicated to fathom why this is so. I'm glad that you chose to work here to serve our people. . .
