Yes, at work I respond within 24 hours. I make sure to always reply to emails especially the one specifically addressed to me. The sender is still waiting to hear from me. How about you my friends? Do you response to your emails?

That is still acceptable. What makes you busy this day? Is it your job? or you have some problem you need to attend to?

A 20 hour job each day. That's too much. Do you still have time for your family? I have a regular 8 hours per day job with one rest day. 8 hours is too past if your are doing something and you have to stayback once in while for overtime pay.

I usually respond to my emails as soon as possible. Although I multitask while online so that I can check my email while doing other things, occasionally when having internet problems, my internet is so slow that the pages stop loading halfway through, I sometimes have to give up and don't get a chance to get through all of my messages. In that case, I try to answer at least those that I know are important, and get to the rest when my internet is working better.

i check my e-mails everyday and make replies as soon as i read them. i would respond right away to my friends' mails first and later to my business mails.

That's good for you ryan. It always good for the sender to receive a response and better if it's on time. It is also good for the sender because that's one happy customer. Great job.

Yes, at work, always. In my work place, emails are very essential, if i asked someone to email me this and that, i automatically respond to thank the sender and acknowledge the message even it it has a request sending receipt. If the sender is asking for information, i always respond in seconds if i know what the sender is asking about. If i don't have the information yet or if i don't know the answer to his request, i still answer by replying that i need to check it out and will get back to him/her as soon as possible. I do this because i may forget to reply to someone's mail if i will not reply immediately since i get a lot of mails everyday. And yes, your right, the sender must be waiting so why keep him wondering.

For business purposes its good to get an email out within 24 hours. Its also good to make a habit of replying your personal emails within the same time. A case of good personal habits becomming good work habits.

yup, if it's at work i usually respond quickly. if it's a personal email then i don't reply that quickly because i'm tied up with other things, unless it's very urgent. i do get around replying my personal emails though just not instantly..better late than never ;)
