Some days back I had started a discussion about cruelty involved in punishment. Now, in todays news paper, I could read a news of a differe type of punishment. The police authorities caught some persons violated traffic rules. Do you know what punishment the police gave to them. It was to write the sentences " I have violated trffic rules, I will not repeat it" 300 hundred times just like imposiitons given by tachers to sudents. The newspapers also gave wide coverage to this incident and also exhibitted their phots. What do you say abouts similar punishements. Will it help to reduce the tendency to violate rules

I think that todays society is in need of new punishment. I mean, anybody can get a fine, pay it off, and then do the same thing over and over, so we are in need of finding new ways for people to learn their lesson
