I'm not really one to hold grudges. Reason being that is SO emotionally draining. I have been known to do the out of site out of mind grudge though where if I see the person that hurt me then I just get infuriated, but if I don't see them I'm fine. Sounds kind of strange, but it seems to be the way it works for me! I'm not really upset with anyone at the moment so I have no beans to spill, sorry Sissygrl.

Lol me either. I was just talking to an old friend, who asked me about another old friend, and she told me they dont speak anymore, so that's where the discussion stemmed from:) I have a grudge with only one person, and that will never seize to exist. THAT b@st@rd made like he was my friend and then did something really perverted and i could never trust or talk to him again without w anting to stab him in the eye. lol.

Yes! when someone hurts or harms you...its animal instinct to try and take revenge and to hold grudge until you do.How can a person let someone walk all over him? I hold grudges but most fade with time when i am relaxed enough to let go and forgive but there are a few people who have seriously wronged me and God knows i held a hard grudge and kinda still do...

I agree i dont think i know a single person who doesn't hate someone for what they have done or did in the past at some point. We are all guilty of making mistakes though, at different points in our life. out of ignorance, stupitidy, or just plain lack of respect and dignity. I hope we all grow up though!

You know, that's one of the benefits of having MS. With MS I have short term memory loss which then translates into me not really remembering WHY I'm so ticked off, which then means I just tend to forive and forget. LOL Holding a grudge is wasted energy if you ask me. Fix it or forget it and move on.

I've held grudges for ages, and I still really hold one against my mother. It's hard to let her irresponsibility go whenever she should be acting like an adult and not a child. I should be acting more immature than she is, and she's not. It's hard to get past that. I've held grudges against other people but not for as long. They usually screw me over once or twice and it's usually something minor that I can get over eventually. Some people however, just have wronged me one too many times and I refuse to forgive them. Even if they apologise and claim they realize what they've done is wrong, I still can't get over the fact that they hurt me so viciously.

Yes I have and I still kind of do. It was about 3 years ago when it happened and what the person did is just horrible so I don't even like talking about it or talking to her.
