Here are some of "quotable qoutes" I have gathered here on the net which will make you say "Huh?!!!" "It isn't pollution that's harming the environment. It's the impurities in our air and water that are doing it." - Al Gore, former US VP "Traditionally, most of Australia's imports come from overseas." - Keppel Enderby, former Australian cabinet minister "The Internet is a great way to get on the net." - Bob Dole, Rep. presidential candidate "I love California. Hilarious!:-P I think some of them could use some schooling again ,lol.I couldn't believe the letter from Department of social services,Carolina,if it is indeed true. The other's are pardonable as they might have been either a slip of tongue or stress that could have done it to them, but a letter ? How could that be wrong unless it was April 1st ?lol They will be laughing at their gaffe even from their graves, lol.

Yeah, the letter might have been for April 1st lol! :p But I'm still giving them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe they have a template or ready-made format for these kinds of correspondences and then the last part which was " You may still reapply..." was not edited out. Don't you think?

these are very good laughs. i never thought though that dan quayle and al gore can be that erratic, too. nonetheless, i must admit that i can never say that i cannot be as erratic as these guys are. at most times, when we commit errors, we do so because we are not aware of it. it is amazing though that even these americans do not know the places in their area.

This one is my favorite, now this is a Diva for goodness sakes "Mariah Carey "Smoking kills. If you're killed, you've lost a very important part of your life." Wow thank heavens I don't have to have a conversation with her, glad to listen to her singing though:))

Very good quotes. I always hold my breath when they start speaking and are clearly deviating from a speech. Dubya is famous for his Bushisms. I'vce got a couple for you. Talk about gobbledeygook! "And so, what Gen. Petraeus is saying, some early signs, still dangerous, but give me -- give my chance a plan to work." --George W. Bush, in an interview with Charlie Rose, April 24, 2007 "Politics comes and goes, but your principles don't. And everybody wants to be loved -- not everybody. ... You never heard anybody say, 'I want to be despised, I'm running for office.'" --George W. Bush, Tipp City, Ohio, April 19, 2007 "The best thing about my family is my wife. She is a great first lady. I know that sounds not very objective, but that's how I feel. And she's also patient. Putting up with me requires a lot of patience." --George W. Bush, Tipp City, Ohio, April 19, 2007 "I'm a strong proponent of the restoration of the wetlands, for a lot of reasons. There's a practical reason, though, when it comes to hurricanes: The stronger the wetlands, the more likely the damage of the hurricane." --George W. Bush, New Orleans, March 1, 2007 There are pages and pages of this stuff, but I will wrap it up with this one, which he clearly hasn't taken to heart! "Anybody who is in a position to serve this country ought to understand the consequences of words." --George W. Bush, interview with Rush Limbaugh, Nov. 1, 2006
