Depends how much homework is given. Im a 16 year old student and I have a babysitting job everyday before school and a part time job after school. I also play sports and have a boyfriend, so if i get alot of homework its very stressfull. At one point i was busy for a week straight working and I did something for charity, and I had to stay up till 3 am to do a project and get up the next day at 6 to just go babysit again. I think homework is a good idea, in small doses. Some people are just dont have enough time.

I can't help but smile....assignment hampering activities like playing.... I think that homeworks are integral part of a child's education. It does not only help him learn the lesson, but teaches him how to be responsible and self-reliant. These virtues will be useful even later on in the life of the students when he's trying to cut it in the real world. I am not undermining the importance of playing as it also helps shape the person but there should be a time for play and a time for studying. This is another lesson to be learned....time management (I leaned multitasking too!).
