i had a recent four-year relationship. we broke it off about 7 months ago. we still talk and always try to fix things up.. somehow i miss being committed but then being single also has a lot of advantages don't you think?

I'm on a 3 year relationship and I love it! Being committed never stopped me from doing whatever I want, he is not the kind of guy who is always asking me where I'm going, he gives me freedom and he understands I need to have my own space and I do the same with him. I don't think I could be with someone that didn't respect me, my freedom, my friends. I don't imagine myself being single again, honestly. It may happen one day, we never know but I would find it difficult to adapt to a new life without him.

you're lucky.. there aren't a lot of guys who are open enough to be cool with women having their freedom. some guys can be so possessive. it can get really annoying whe your man constantly checks on everything, or demands a lot of things..

hmm i haven't been in any relationship for about 5 years.. n i have this 2 years in relationship... whoaaaaa enjoy this too much.. well we need somone in fact.. being single is a lot of advantages, but finally u will feel alone too. if u saying that the freedom is the advantage, hmm i think we could do the same thing when u're not single... flirting is a normal thing i guess in fact we can do a lot of discussion with that. 4 year realtionship wat a loooong time.. u shouldn't have waste that.. i'm afraid if i fail on 1 relation i can build my other relation.. cos i feel tired to handle of this kind of relationship ^^ btw i have to admit being a single is alot of fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun :)

yep.. 4 years IS a long time. it had been great. but things don't always come out as we expect them to. you're right, we can still be free even when we're committed but not all guys are openminded enough to respect individuality.
