has digital tremors something to do with thyroid???

i wanted to kno that is slight shaking of the hand associate with thyroidism.i have spoken to few people and they have told me that yes that digital tremors could be because of thyroid.pls comment??

I have tremors, and I have thyroid problems, but have never been told that the two were related. Tremors run in my family, called a familial tremor. Thyroid problems also run in my family too though. I suppose I should ask the doctor about this too, but since it was never mentioned and I am on medications for both, I would not think that they are related.

i had hyperthyroidism detected six years back .i was on mild medication for two years i was normal so i left medication.all this while i had slight shaking of hands.i got tests done after three years of leaving medicine i had hyperthroidism again.i had medicine for three monts and i became hypothyroid.i had medicine for hypotyroid and i became normal.now i am not on any med.my bp is 128/90 and it remains the same all time i have slight sj=haking of hand whic increases on xtreme stress.
