Salvador Dali. Who is your favorite painter?

I do like paintings, but I'm not an aficionado. I have one favorite though, his name is Salvador Dali. I like him not because his first name is same as my last but the fact that I really enjoy his creations. One style that fascinates me the most, levitation, his style that totally breaks the law of gravity. have you imagined the image of Jesus Christ nailed to the cross and as if the sky is trying to pull him up, rip him from the cross? That's just one of his work that i like. Do you have a favorite painter?

Great taste you have there, Dali is also one of my favourite painters.
My fav ones include artists who, somehow, likes to play with the reality as we know it. Dali is one of them, for sure, playing with melting clocks and strange gravity fields. Also Escher, who has the ability to transform a lot of impossible landscapes and constructions into one big image you can stare for 10 minutes (and still know that you didn't get EVERYTHING out of that paint). Rob Gonsalves is also one of my favorites, although his work is somewhere between painting and drawing.
