I usually say to my family good night before I go to sleep, I think this enhance our relationship and show how much I love them. Do you say “good night” or “sweet dreams” before you fall asleep? Do you think we have to say it or it is not important? Do your kids say to you good night daddy/mammy? Is it must to say good night? Or it depends on your mood?

I'm always the one to put my daughter to bed and I always give her a hug and kiss and tell her good night and I love her when I tuck her in. When me and my fiance go to bed we will normally tell each other good night unless we are so tired that we fall asleep the minute our heads hit the pillow.

Generally not. We all go to sleep at different times so it can be difficult

I always say good night to my husband and children. I give them kisses and tell them I love them. They say and do the same. We are a very loving family.

In my family, my husband, my son, and I always say good night, I love you. It is something we started when my son was very young and even at 12 years old, he is not ashamed to tell us that. Even if he spends the night with a friend, he is sure to say it before he leaves to go with his friend. I think this makes a strong family unit and I hope we continue it for the rest of our lives.
