If you were asked to drop something off for someone, would you do it?

Example: A married male neighbor of ours... that we're friendly with, pulled my 15 yr. old son over to the side and asked him to take a card down to a Single woman that lives down the walkway from us. He claimed it was a Birthday card, but was real weird about it. My son offered to do it no problem. When we questioned our neighbor about it...he said it was no big deal just a birthday card. RED LIGHTS flashed in my head...now wondering why he couldn't deliver it himself if it was innocent, other than he's flirting or propositioning the single woman without his wife's knowledge. Has someone every asked you to watch something for them or deliver something for them and it seemed suspicious? What would you do?

Strange. Why didn't he just post it?

I think our neighbor was propositioning the single woman down the way, but since he was married...he was too chicken to drop the note off himself.
