How attached are you to your faith?

In the Philippines, aside from the biggest bloc group of Catholic Church, there are also a lot of varying Christian faiths still numbering into millions together. of course, majority are Catholics. There are a lot of people here who are really attached to their brand of faith by promoting it heavily to their friends and relatives and campaigning by attacking the doctrines of other faiths. This is a common thing in the war between the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) founded by Manalo vs. the old Catholic Church. Now, we have a war between Iglesia and that of Dating Daan by Eli Soriano. Faith has become a very potent instrument to sow hatred and indifference to others. I am already discouraged with relegion and/or faith in solving our problems here -- I firmly believe that they are just adding to the problems rather than the solutions. Of course, I am never for the banning of relegious freedom. I am likwise a firm believer of letting anybody choose his relegious affiliation. Do you think that instead of having relegion hurt, it could be instead use to build a much better Philippines? Or do you think it had miserably failed in uplifting the lives of the Filipinos?

well i'm blessed coz i grew up in a christian family and i was raised through christian values and as i read bible.. attending fellowships and through the values my mom taught me it helped a lot for me to know more god to fully have faith in him.. faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of god and we should know our god to know all of his promises and wills for us and this helped to continue to put my trust and faith in him... in times and trials or hardships i know my god can never fail....and yes he's always there for us...
