When you meet someone new???

I met someone recently that I am attracted to. I met him when I was hired for a new job and once I got done with the orientation at work I had decided that I did not want to work here at all. However, I went to work again only because I wanted to get his number. Corny heh? Anyway, when we went on break he actually asked me for my phone number and wanted to hang out. Of course I gave him my number, but I didn't go back to work again. Has anyone done this before? Anyway, it has been a long time since I have been in a relationship and I feel like I'm in highschool all over again. We talk on the phone all the time, when we aren't together. It just seems like we are kids, or something. I am sure someone has to know what I am talking about. Is this how it is? I forgot how this works. I have been single for eight years now because I was afraid to get involved with anyone again after my last relationship. I didn't think it was going to be like I was a highschooler again.
