I don't mean to deflame other people's beliefs but all I know (correct me if I'm wrong) is that Catholic priests are not allowed to marry because the priesthood are trying to emulate the life of Jesus Christ (who never got married). It's a bible teaching nonetheless that it's an Anti-Christ belief to stop people from marrying. (Please see 1 Timothy 1:1-4 which states forbidding people to marry is a teachng of demons). I have nothing against the priests not wanting to marry, but it must be a preference for them, not a teaching to be upheld so as not to make it sound like the teaching of the devil...

99.99% Catholie Priest and Nuns are maintaining their Celebacy. Only 0.01% of them go out of the way. Compared to the priests of other religions, catholic priests are far better inleading a holy life.
