I am a girl from China. It seems that so many westerners are interested in this mysterious land.So how about the people on this land.For example, any idea of the oriental girls???tell your impressions of them,and if you have any questions about Chinese girls,I think I'd like to answer!!!for that,i can learn your way to think about here!!sorry, my English is not so good,hope you can understand!!!

this is a good topic.seeing LuisJ's post i am a little shocked.as beijing 2008 is coming,i dont want people from other countries misunderstand we Chinese.
and i hope others will know better through your topic,China is not what they think of,yes,it is not that developed,but we are all making our efforts to make our motherland stronger and better.i never consider those who did things to humiliate our country as Chinese,they dont deserve to be Chinese and never.
sorry i am a bit of mad when thinking about that,and it is a little far from your topic.i just want to say this out,otherwise i will feel uncomfortable.
i believe when people do not judge us by prejudice,they will find the difference.

yes,you are right,sometimes people from other countries misunderstood our country,but that's not all their fault.i know a foreigner in my office,and at the beginning,coz my english is too bad,my english is in Chinese way,so he misunderstood often,you see,even words could be misunderstood.but as time passed,i know more now,communication is important,if we dont know others,we cant judge.

hehe,thanks for your support about my first discussion topic.it is not a bad beginning.
yea, the reason i created this topic is because i work with some westerners, they have some ideas about Chinese people shocked me.totally different and misunderstood.so always i try to show them the good sides of Chinese people and i really hope through my ability to speak English to change their ideas about our Chinese.i wont say prejudice,i d rather believe though China develops so fast these days,they still didnt familiar with it.So,what is my task, try to show them the truth.
p.s. i know why you were mad at that moment,sometimes it happens to me.hehe...so keep calm and show them what we know.

ive been to china and all the rumours i head about chinese girls are tue.they go out with westerners just becuase you have money and hope to get out of china.it happened with my brother he was dating this girl and then found out she had a boyfriend in another city.

that is not always true.you know this kind of girl can be found anywhere not only in China.most of Chinese girls are good,at least my friends(girls) are never that kind.
anyway,it is humiliating to hear about that.but as you know better about China,you'll find this is just not true.every coin has two sides,i cant promise all people in China are decent,and i think no one from any country can promise that.

yea, i cannot say i am upset about what you said. coz as a Chinese girl,i also found some girls like that.it is a shame.but really, i think it doesnt only happen in China.please dont be frightened by this,come closer,to see a true China.Maybe you will have new ideas,hopefully.

i am from China too.also,i am proud that i am from China.as a Chinese girl,i should have a lot to say,one single person's trait doesn't mean the whole nation's.
i think most of Chinese girls are good and special.if you say all the girls from your country are all good,that's a big lie.

thanks for your reply first.yea, i think we are special in our own ways.my purpose here just want to make others to have more ideas about our Chinese girls,not always bad impressions.i know what i am doing is quite limited,but i am trying. all my westerner friends say i am a strong girl,so i d like to let others know, Chinese girls are beyond their imagination and can be proud of ourselves.
