Do you have a cat who watches TV?

how funny. your lovely cat reminds me of my cat. i had it many years ago. he liked to look at himself in the mirror. he knew when i would come back from school and would wait for me at the gate. when i was reading, he would crouch beside my books, sleeping.

My cat, Buster, (shown in my avatar), watches "Most Haunted" on the Travel Channel! Just last night, it came on and Buster was transfixed. There are other shows that capture his attention, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

My cats are always watching the tv screen. It is funny to watch them. They also like to watch me when I am on the computer too but that is because they are trying to catch the pointer.

I've had several cats and dogs for that matter that will watch tv. Some cats might try to grab at things on the screen, objects that are moving, but some times they just lay there and watch what is ever on. Not sure if its the colors, the noise or if maybe they do understand it but some will watch it.

I've recently realized that my cat too watches TV! Now he is more than 6 years old and he has just recently became accostumed to watch TV with us. He likes most nature documentaries.

A couple of months ago, my aunt sent me a video made for cats. It had mice & hamsters running aound, birds and squirrels. I put the tape in the vcr and called all the kitties into the living room. They weren't sure why I called them, so I pointed to the tv. They looked at the tv, looked at me like I was nuts and left the room. :@)
