desktop or laptop?

i would prefer a desktop over laptop because desktop is easier to repair and upgrade than the laptop

I primarily use a desktop, but if I'm going somewhere and want to write, play games, etc I bring my Jornada 720 handheld PC. It's a lot smaller than a laptop, and it has Pocket Office software plus a bunch of console emulators.

I prefer to have a desktop, but a laptop is cool. I would get a laptop if I were traveling more often, but right now a desktop will do.

i prefer to have a laptop. easy to handle and easy to carry... wherever your lap is, there is your laptop with all the information needed for your personal research and for pleasure

I prefer laptop over desktop. All the while since I started working, I am a laptop user. My company provides me with laptop the very day I started work with them and I buy a laptop for my personal use as well. I like the flexibility that the laptop provides me, which I can work or use the computer anywhere I want in the house and well as outside the house. And the data is always with me in my laptop harddisk, I can use it as and when I need it. That is very convenient. I set up a wireless network in my house thus I and my family members can use it anywhere we want, in the room, in the lounge room or even on the bed.
