Would you marry a man or woman out of pity probably because you have stayed too long in the relationship and you know the relationship is not working out well but you do not want to break your partners heart.Would you marry?

I would not. It will just cause more pain and suffering as time goes on and resentment builds up. Love is the one thing keeps a relationship going :)
