do you have someone you can honestly say is a true friend

I have one friend who I would put in that category repeatively. She has been in my life since we were three months old. We have always been good friends, but because of my lifestyle she was afraid to get to know me because of the risks she would have to take. I never knew this until we were 23 or so, about ten years ago. She broke through her fear at that time and took the risk of getting to know me despite the fact she may not have a great deal of time with me. We broke through sharing somethings to sharing everything. She knows me better then I know myself at times, and in the process of this I became healthier and our trust grew stronger. I think our true bond is our trust and our willingness to be candid as needed. We are sensitive, but bold with each other, and she has made my life go past surviving to enjoyable. We get upset with each other, but we also know it will be discussed and resolved before it becomes a new barrier. We like our relationship and it has survived a lot.

Yes, i have someone like that,. I call her my miracle. She came into my life right at the perfect moment.I can tell her anything and I can count on her for anything. She is a true friend. and I love her like a sis.

I can honestly say that I have a true friend and have several true friends. One of them is you my friend and some other ones here as well. My neighbors are true friends as they have always been there for me when I needed them and have a couple other friends locally as well. I have also had some friends who turned out to not be a friend as I have been backstabbed and used as well.

Yes you are right its almost impossible to find such a trustworthy person. I have many friends and i picked up one and thought he is my best friend.. but friendship ended there.. many used me for their purposes.. gained knowledge from me and then kicked me aside as they felt that i was no longer of ne use for them. Right now i have a friend.. I trust him to a quite extent.... But i dont know whether the trust will last for ever or will end in few days. Finding a true friend is reallly hard..

As of now i really have someone that i can actually say that he is my true friend because he is always there with me, he is a good listener to my problem and frustrations, even when i get irritated easily with him, he will the one to say sorry and he always say what is wrong with me that i have to change. We are open in every aspects, he tell me when i was wrong and i will tell him if his wrong too. My true friend is so good and kind, he is a friend, a husband, and a father to me.

Littlefranciscan, Prior to your friends, can you trust yourself at 100 %? Consider that you fall in love, you interrupt everything in your life. you do worst things to yourself. You think of him rather than yourself. In most of the times, my biggest enemy is myself i think. While i can not trust myself, how can i find a friend to trust at 100 % ?

hello. so, you changed your avatar? i hardly recognized you. hehe. anyway, can i say my boyfriend? hehe. he fits all that. well, aside from him, i have one friend who i can consider as a true friend. we've been bestfriends since 1994. so, it's like 13 years now. hehe. we always had been there for each other even if there are times when we are not physically together. we kept our communications alive. she's the very person i can talk to when i feel sad, when i am hurting. the very person i celebrate my joys and triumps with. the very person who understands my annoying attitudes and loves my positive attributes. she never talked behind my back. when she hates something about me, she tells me straight in my eye. and she allows me to do that to her, too. so, basically, i am happy i have two such people in my life... my boyfriend and my bestfriend. happy myLotting!

I don't think you have just one friend. I think you have many friends. And I know if I lived close to you that I'd be your own personal friend and help you in any way I could, and I know you would help me with computer projects I can't do. Thanks my lot and my friends.

I used to have a friend with whom i used to share everything but due to some misunderstandings we broke up. Ah!! it hurted, but everything is ok now.

i still consider my father my best friend. He is my advisor and confidant. He is always there for me and never too busy. I have always gotten the best advice and the most honest answers. I always consult with him because he is well known for being the logical voice. His advice has saved me many moons of trouble throughout the years. I was blessed and I thank god for him every day of my life.

I'm so blessed becuase I do. We've been friends for 18 years now. I met her in High School where were both transferees and needed to make new friends to be able to get by. We hit it off right away and made a couple more friends along the way. We're 6 all in all in our group. Even if we don't see each other as often as we want to, we manage to keep in touch somehow. We live in different parts of the world now but we still know what's going on in each other's lives. Whenever she would come home and visit her family we try to catch up on what we've missed on each other's life. It sure is a blessing to have a true friend and I know that I will treasure this friendship foreve.

Hi, littlefranciscan, A friend should be like "PALM" tree. Because for "PALM tree" to grow we do not seed them. They grow of its own. We do not water them to grow. We do not need to take care of them. They will grow of its own but ultimately it gives fruit and the whole body for our use. A friend should be like "PALM" tree. Friendship should develop of its own. We should not develop a friendship. A friend should stand with you and support you in any situation or circumstances without looking for reciprocating help from you. I have 3 or 4 friends. We never called ourselves as friends but we know each other for a long time. In our inner heart each one of us know all of us will come to help each other at any given situation or circumstances. This is called friendship. A simple exemple I will tell you, that is, one of our friends was falsely implicated in an accident case. We all stood with him and got him out of the case. Till date we ourselves do not know how much money we spent out of each other's packet. We never talked about. This is called friendship. The whole beauty is that we never meet each often but we are all one in heart and we respect each other and love each other

yes i have true friends, i am fully believe that he will not stab me in my back, i think he will remain as my best friend, ya i agree that it is hard to find a true friend but you feel lucky when you think that you have a true friend, and doesn't walk away from me after fulfillment of his interest

I don't have true friend. Friendship happens rare in my life. I don't believe in anybody except my family. Life is a strugle for interests of people.

I do have2 good friends like that,They are the most special friends anyone could ever ask for..They both know my good,bad and most ugly and never ran from me lol..they also never judged me no matter what..They have been there for the most hard of hardships almost any human being should have to go threw alone..one gave me a Christmas for my son a couple years ago when times were so tough,,Sky was the only thing that kept me alive..The other was there when i fell and was stuck under a big a$$ speaker that fell on me..me being disabled with my back..i couldnt get up and i was alone..crying and yelling for help..and my guardian angel sent her outside for no reason and she heard my scems for help..she even cleaned my puke one day for me lol..yea thats a great friend lol!! I have been truley gifted by God for my special friends..I love Amy and Jess with al my heart..and i think of them as my family..and i dont know what i would ever do without them:)
