A couple of months ago my maintenance man came to me asking me if I would go to planned parenthood to get the morning after pill for his cousin cause she was too embarassed to go hereself and get it. At first I was kind of hesitant about going. Knowing they would check my ID and ask me all kinds of questions that I wasn't sure how to answer but in the end I ended up going. I took the girl her Plan B pill and explained everything to her like they had to me at Planned Parenthood. To me the morning after pill isn't abortion. The way it was explained to me is that it never kills anything it just pushes back your period for a day or two. Maybe I was explained to wrong I don't know but I was curious what everyone else thought. Let not argue over it though, lets have a real discussion about it. Do you believe it should be used only in rape situations or for everyday occurances where people were too drunk to know the difference?

I do not believe it should be used at all... rape or not. IT is an abortificient ( I spelled that one wrong!) just as the "regular" contraceptive pills are, it prevents a fertilized ovum from attaching - or sloughs off the tissues or somethingerother.

I think every woman should make that decision for herself. I don't see anything wrong with it because it isn't like the person got pregnant and wants to harm the baby or something like that.
