I tried to cook rise so many times throughout my teenage life, everytime I tried it was too dry and thus disgusting. I tried to add water but it just didn't absorbed them, can anyone tell me finally what is the ration between rise and water and how do you cook it in the microwave?

I have never gotten rice to cook right like that either. I highly recommend buying a rice cooker, small ones are pretty cheap and it makes cooking rice super easy. Put in water, put in rice, press the cook button. You don't have to watch it or anything, and it comes out perfect every time.

Yeah, it's not like I don't when it is done it's more like I always get too much water over the rise and not enough inside it, kinda weird..

I also tried to cook rise and failed, maybe you did the same mistakes I did, i forgot to put the right amont fo water, i also left it too much time which made the rice like a sweet potato pie !

Sweet potato pie? how come? did you add sugar into it? Which leads me to a follow-up question: When do you add the extra stuff such as carrots or pees or gravey? do you add it with the water (I guess if you add vegetables you could add it with the water...) or maybe later?

hmmm... i never heard of rice cooked in a microwave. there are different varieties of rice, and water/rice ratio are different with each variety. but normally, after pouring rice on the pot, add water until its approximately 1-1.5 inches over the rice. start your fire at high, and when the water starts to boil, set the fire to low, and let it be for a few more minutes. you'll be able to perfect it after a try or two. its pretty easy, really.. c",)
