why do you think battered wives stick to their men?

some say, they still have hopes that their husbands would change soon, that they're really not monsters at all,they just had a little drink, that's all. hello?! even if beats you black and blue everyday? i think it's crazy not to leave your husband, if he's almost killing you. what do you think?
