love quote and truth modification

ive been receiving this quote for the longest time, it says, "when you love someone, you have to let him go, if he comes back, he's truly yours, but if not, you're not meant to be together... TRUTH modification: if you really love someone dont let that person go, and that person shouldnt even attempt on leaving, coz if that person really loves you, why leave? and if you really love that person, why
allow him to leave and not fight for what you feel?"
its easy to read and say, but really hard to do, aint it?

Well... for me LETTING GO sometimes we have to do it... for the sake of giving the person we love a space. LEAVING the person we love not necessarily mean that we dont love them... sometimes situations bring us to the path that we have to do it... In time if you will both survive the test of time...and find yourselves back again in each other arms... then ITS MEANT TO BE...
In every aspect of life... we always have to know when to fight and when to let go... sometimes it gives us enough time to think...and realize the worth of the person...

let me respond to all your comments with this quote: chance or choice? when you meet the ryt person 2 love, at the ryt place at the ryt time, dats a chance, when u meet some1 ur attracted 2, dats a chance 2, bein caught in a crowd of people who are more attractive, smarter, richer dan ur mate and yet u decide to love ur mate just the same, thats a choice. attraction comes 2 us by chance, but true love that lasts is truly a choice... note: fate brings us 2geder, but its stil up 2 us make it happen. we may mit some1 by chance but loving and staying with dat someine is stil a choice..

Yes, this is an old phrase and was a favouritest of mine to say when i must let my partner to go. I desperately repeated it to myself hoping to make it reality. But usually the life shows that they never return back. Does it mean that ALL my relations have been untrue? I dont think so.Just they have their start and end.

hmmm.. i don't think you'd agree with me here..
but for me, i'd set them free. if thats what would make my partner happy, why would i hold her back. her happiness would make me happy. for me, it is of utmost importance. it may be hard to accept. but if its the only way, then i'd gladly give way.
..theres only one catch about me doing that.. once she breaks away, theres no coming back..

I thnik i will not believe in that love quote that "when you love someone, you have to let him go, if he comes back he's truly yours". But also depends on the situation that he really needs to go like a petition to go abroad, something like that. I think i agree that you must fight for the person you love, you better not to let him go.
