food allergies, do you have them?

I don't have any allergies as such, but in the last few years, I've stopped being able to digest sweetcorn - one of my favourite veggies. I'm OK with baby sweetcorn, but corn on the cob and sweetcorn niblets are out of the question for me now.

i am allergic to oily food or fried food. which results as pimples on my face.

Before marriage i was such a lucky girl that i never had any food allergy but after marriage i have developed many. i think my place and climate is changed thats why. i am allergic to peanuts, cahsewnuts.when ever i eat them i get pimples and before even getting pimple after 5 minutes only i feel like vomitting every bit of that out. i cant stand that situation. i realised it after sometime that i m allergic to all these things because beforei use to eat and it was ok with my health also.i cant eat egg and i cant even stand the smell of non-veg when it is cooked.

Yes, even I'm lucky like you that I don't have food allergies. Only one thing which I hate to eat is egg. I can eat meat but hate to smell egg. But I think it's not allergy , it's kind of hatred for eggs. My cousin's daughter has food allergies. The reaction that she got as a baby was hives (little bumps that look like masquito bites), diarrhea, irritability, asthma symptoms, a runny nose, and watery eyes. She also had a little diarrhea when teething, but not the rash on her face. Look into her mouth and there are little white spots. Doctor said she is allergic to certain kind of food.

i have shellfish allergies-which is ironic,because i live in a fishing community.no lobster for me. although..with the price of it,i'm almost glad in a way LOL
