it rained all weekend but stoped for the last 2 hours of the fair. so we got to go on some rides for a little over an hour. my daughter had a blast. there will me more to go to this summer so we can't wait. do fairs go to your town in the summer, how often to they come around. we'll usually get 2 to 3 in the summer time.

I haven't gone to the fair in years. I think I might have to take my daughter to one this summer. I like all the rides that go really fast. we actually live about an hour away from Canada's wonderland, I'd love to get there this summer, I love rollercoasters, the faster the better.

i love rollercoasters as well. and anything fast and scary. but going with a 3 year old i only get a chance to do the kiddie rides with her. but that's ok one day hopefully when she's bigger she'll love the scary rides as much as i do.

well I don't thin mine will get on any with me, she doesn't like that stuff like I do, so unless I go with a lot of people I think I'll be on all the kidie rides too..lol

I'm glad it stopped raining long enough for yall to ride some rides. I like some of the rides at fairs but not all of them as I'm afraid of heights. The carnival comes here every so often but we just have the main fairs (city, county and state). We were at a carnival last month and my 5 year old daughter rode the Ferris Wheel with my brother she loved it. I on the other hand refused to get on it.

i'm not a fan of the ferris wheel either. i've taken my daughter on a few times but i absolutely hated it. i went to niagara falls when my daughter was 1 and i took her to this little kiddie ride but it was on top of a tall building. i didn't think i'd be scared cause it was a kiddie ride but the way it moved up on top of the building was terrifying. you couldn't see the building underneath you it was the size of the top so you really thought you were hanging in the middle of the air.

My state has fairs all summer. There is all types of fairs but they are so crowded and so commercial that I don't go. I like the small fairs that are held in the small counties. I go to a little town in Manassis Virginia for their county fair. It is very nice. People stop and say hi even though they don't know you and there as so many animals for my daughter to see and play with. I also like to go to South Carolina for the idian pow wows. These are friendly places that make you feel like family not just tourist.
