Start menu problem in Windows XP?

I want to control what items appear on the Start menu but Windows XP will not let me.?

Hi, you go on the bar of the application and prizes with the right key of the mouse you will find the voice "toolbars" then you go on "fast start" and they will appear you to them the installed programs. Ciao ^^
