Maybe it's just because I like Jordin so much, but I hate it the way they held her out til the very end on the "Idol Gives Back" results show. I find it extremely unlikely that she was anywhere near the bottom vote getters, and it is obvious to anyone who watches the show that she gets extremely nervous and emotional. I think that the Idol producers knew that they would scare her and hurt a lot of feelings when they set it up that way. I mean, it was fairly predictable that no one would be eliminated that night, but I just don't like the way they did it. What do you guys think about this? And, who do you think will be the next 2 to go? My money's on Chris and either Phil or LaKisha.

I hated how they did that show as well. First, because I thought for sure Chris was going home but my feeling were torn because I think Jordin should win this season .. but I really like Chris. Anyhow, I sat on my couch with my mouth open - seriously, when they told Chris to sit down. I was in complete shock that Jordin was going home and then when Ryan announced that no one was going home - I wanted to scream. Poor Jordin, crying her eyes out - they shouldn't have doen that to her. I do think it will play in her favor though, because some people will assume she was in the bottom two - and some people will just be reminded that they need to vote for her because she was the subject of the joke on that show .. some will realize they do not want what happened to become a reality with Jordin .. etc. I have to wonder what they will do next season when they do Idol Gives Back.. now we all know they won't vote someone off on a charity night so they won't be able to do this stint again. As for who should go home next week... I'm going to have to say either LaKisha or Blake. I'm shocked I'm even writing their names down but they have consistantly let me down week after week. Blake seems to be void of expression these days when he's singing. His mouth and face always look the same. Don't get me wrong - he can sing, kinda, and he reminds me of alot of 80s Nu Wave type singers but he has let me down. I expected more from him with his skatting and beatboxing skills. He's just become very boring. LaKisha is also not doing as well as she did earlier in the season. I'm not sure what is going on but she's on the road to losing this if she doesn't snap out of it. There's nothing memorable about her anymore. Jordin is my choice to win this season. I think she outshines Melinda by a mile. She has more personality and her voice can do more than Melinda's can. Melinda is also becoming boring and typical in the way she sings. I love Chris but I do not think he will win nor do I think he deserves it. Phil has surprised me but not enough to win. He does country music really well though.

Thanks for the best response! I watched last nights show (Tues) and have to say that my answer has changed quite a bit since I last wrote here. I think Blake did awesome last night. Amazing and I wasn't expecting that from him but he really was my favorite. I was not happy with either Jordin or Chris' performance last night. So disappointing. Chris is my 'boy' and yet, I couldn't vote for him. My votes last night went to Blake - he deserves to stay after that performance.

Although I like Blake a great deal (he's my boy!), and I liked what he did last night, I didn't love it like so many other people did. Chris is most assuredly not my boy, but I thought he did okay. I didn't think Jordin was that bad, although I heard from many others that they thought she stunk. Melinda was just amazing, and I really liked LaKisha last night.

I think they really planned it long time ago, that nobody goes home on the idol gives back show. I agree with you that it could be Lakisha, Phil or Chris.

I am with you. It was cruel to do thatto her. They should have said half way through the show that they weren't going to let anyone go tonight. They missed a great t.v. moment. I think Phil will be the next one to go. I like him but the critics don't and he is always in the bottom. It is Melinda's to lose.

I thought that was really mean of Idol to do that. First, I thought that the best singer was about to go home and America had made a huge mistake, but also, poor Jordin! She thought she was voted off! I was upset. Next to go should be Lakisha!
