have you eaten an egg called "balut"?

Here in the philippines, we call it "balot" and it's one of the best delicacies in our country. it's one of our favorite food. it's actually a duck or chicken egg matured only from 17-21 days, which is enough time for the embryo to grow in the shell. once cooked, it contains a small amount of soup-like fluid inside together with the yolk and the chick embryo. it's a yummy treat! i just don't get it why many people feels creepy about it...
