What makes you a better Mylot-writer after 300 discussions?

There are some funny rules around here. For instance you can't copy and paste text until you've reached 300 discussions. That's just strange. What's the point?

I think that is the way to prevent people from being lazy and can stay here longer. After you've posted 300 posts, you've come to like mylot or have formed the habbit of writing it yourself, so even you can copy and paste, you'd not do it.

Hey there! Preventing people from getting lazy - that's another way of saying that people try to cheat an copy other peoples work. I guess your right, though. And I don't intend to be "lazy".

This is something as filter how serious and active you are. Because nobody needs copy-pastes only, they are just junk. They probably suppose that if you have 500 normal opinions- you need more trust.

Hey there, thanks for commenting. I just don't agree on not needing the opportunity to copy and past. I like to discuss different kinds of issues for instance politics. And often you need to quote someone. Here you need to be very exact in the qoute or else your argument will loose. So an exact copy of the original statement is needed, and that's why I found the 500-rule strange.
