What do you know of Mike Ness in Social Distortion?

I saw them in concert on Friday. He looks great! The show was great. He's got a lot of energy and is a good showman. He actually took these young kids up on stage and got down on his knees and asked them how old they were and said "Old punks don't die, they multiply!" This prompted me to look online to see more about him and his personal life, as prior to this I was only interested in the band Social Distortion as a band and not really individually. Is Mike Ness a father? How old is he? Is he married? He seems like a very nice person. I hope his personal life has brought him love and contentment.

I have always loved SD. It seems to me that Mike Ness has reached a place in his life where he is truly comfortable in his own skin. He was born April 3, 1962 in Lynn, MA. He is married with a couple of kids. He's also become a vegetarian in the last few years.
