I'm starting this discussion to find out what other kinds of powers future heroes in the tv series will have? I quite like the idea that they'll be a hero that is able to suppress other heroes's power. Maybe that will be the way to finish of Sylar. If he doesnt' have his power then he is nothing right? I do think that there's some mylot users who are very creative. Certainly they'll be responses that are just amazing. Do post your ideas, I like to know what other possibilities that can be thought up for future heroes.

There is already a hero who can suppress other hero's powers. The Haitian. I think that it would be cool to see a hero that could make people tell the truth. Kind of like Wonder Woman's lasso of truth or like an airborne truth serum. The hero asks a question and there is no way to avoid having to be honest. I know that Parkman can read minds, but people can think lies and then that's what he picks up on. I think it would be cool to see that power.

No problem. I probably would have forgotten about him as well if it wasn't for last night's episode, 5 years later.

I do wonder what would happened if he went near Sylar while impersonating as Nathan. Perhaps Sylar never allowed the Haitian to come near him.

There will definetely need to be a super hero with super strength. I also think that there will be a super hero that can vaporize, maybe turn into water or dissipate and then pull themselves back together. Regardless, i am looking forward to seeing what kind of new heroes are introduced!

Hey that's a cool one, vaporisation. Very cool indeed.

Nikki/Jessica's power is super strength; while not to a level of Hulk, it could maybe be more like the lines of Spiderman. Think of it as her having a constant/steady flow of adrenaline; remember how she knocked DL across the room?

You are very right, but i was thinking more along the lines of "superman" type strength, like lifting a car or an airplane. Jessica is definetely the closest person to that kind of power, but not quite what i would expect.

How about a "Magneto" type of character? We have an illusionist (candice - lady master-mind/mystique), a healer (claire - wolverine/sabertooth), a phaser (Kitty - DL), a "forge character" - Micha (or to be sinister, Sylar). So why not have a "master of magnetism" type character? Oh, and I think someone already mentioned Lightning, so having a weather manipulator ("Storm") would also rock!

Some great ideas here! I unfortunately am not very good at thinking up this sort of thing. I do look forward to seeing more heroes though!

Me too. Peter is really an interesting one. I didn't figure out what he could do in the begining. Then it started unravelling. Its really cool that he can just learn other heroe's powers just by watching them use it. I do wonder if he tried stopping time yet. He's met Hiro already and seen him do something with time travel. Maybe he only learns it if Hiro takes him along with him when he time travels and such. I'm curious to see what Hiro's dad can do. His dad was part of the group organised by Linderman to tag special people and such.

Or someone who could take a pen, for instance, and change it into any other object.

There could be a hero who could recognise other heroes, even if they hadn't shown signs of their abilities yet. Or a hero who could change the reality. Or a hero who could give an abitily to a "normal" person. :D
