How to include our site in SEO top ranking?

I am planning to create a website, this has been my dream a year a go and right now I am currently into finishing touches. Do you have any idea how to make a site be included in the top ranking for search engines such as yahoo, google?

Yeah, the first thing to do is goto www.seobook.com and then tools, fidn their keyword suggestiont tool and then start finding relevant keywords, then write good content about those, then you want to get as many paople as possible to link to you so go out and ask people for a link. happy hunting
