I had Kentucky's Original Recipe not to long ago and I could tell immediately that it was different. It looked different and it tasted different. First of all, this particular store takes the fat off before frying it, which is a plus. It was also less greasy, which was also a plus. But, it did not taste like Kentucky fried chicken either. To me, it tasted more like one of the other fast food places that do chicken, Jim Dandy or Churches. The skin of the chicken was thin and smooth, not crunchy and crumbly like before. I am not one of those people who just had to have Kentucky's chicken, so if this is the new recipe, they wont lose much by me. Besides, their coleslaw and their corn on the cob is wonderful. If they touch that, well, I will be prepared to resort to desperate measures. I am thinking that maybe it is just this one and not all who have this type of new style.
