Everyone experiences ups and down in their life. But sometimes downs can overweigh ups - to the extent that it can affect everyday activities like eating, sleeping, working, and getting along with friends. So how am i going to overcome depression? pls help me...

i'm not really an expert on this. we all know that when it hits you, it does. and it's really hard to overcome it. i always believe that this is a state of mind. thus, the mind would also be the only key to overcome it. so, i guess, you just have to decide on yourself that you would move on.. that you would end this and get on with your life. no one would be able to help you aside from yourself. - barn kinney http://barncogitations.blogdrive.com/ http://barncogitations.blogspot.com/

Depression, is the dangerouse things in human life. to get red of this depression try to balance your life, get every activities for your life a suitable time that is mean eating, sleeping, working, visiting between you and your friends, and spending your family vacations away from your normal locations only even once per year. Try to get your mine a space to thinking and get the dissions for a major problem, that mean do not full your mind by a normal rotine jobs. before you sleep, put all the rotine jobs need to be done in the nixt day in a little peice of paper, that will get you a very will sleep. So, you can wake up active. Do not crowded your mind with a lot of problems at once, try to get them one by one. Some problem can be solved by time, so get it a time. Do not always hurry. There are allot of methods both medicinal and otherwise. Personally I prefer to try the non medicinal route. However in some cases that is not thesable. One method is positive thinking. Now the obvious thing that one would think is if I am depressed how could I think positively. I like to use a particular statement almost like a mantra. Which is: Something good is going to happen today and if something good is going to happen then it is going to happen to me. This kind of works by the laws of attraction. But also I meditate and talk with friends and probably the most important part in my opinion in to not bottle up emotions. If someone pisses me off, I let them know. And If someone is treating me in a matter that I don't like I let them know.

Sometimes I get depressed and I have no idea why.Sometimes it is a mind thing that you can control and sometimes it is caused by a chemical imbalance which needs to be treated with medicne. Sometimes people get depressed about things they cant control or change,like bills or maby the loss of a loved one. Take some time and think about what may be bothering youand can you change it , if not try to just let it go, get out and do something you enjoy. or maby you can visit your dr. he may have some treatment options.

True depression ,you need to see your doctor, can prescribve pills to help and turn you around. if it's just the feeling of unhappiness, go out find things to do , make friends, go for volunteer works, join small community in church. unhappiness is boredome.

There are different ways and this is too individual. I believe that the organism has self-healing mechanism. And if he feels that something is wrong, he will find a way to fight against it.Untill to recover his balanse. There are different ways, i shall give you just a hint.Try to weare bright, merry clothes, to change the atmosphere of your house. More flowers. Regular fresh air.It helps:-)
