We're already experiencing global warming. If we take actions, can we recover it, bringing it back to normal. if you want to help the planet ,plant a tree every week ,if everyone on the planet did we we would be able to slowdown the destructive processes. Reduce carbon emisions, and they are already working on that by alternative forms of energy and regulations on carbon producing materials, aerosol cans, burning rubbish, industrial chimneys, powerplants etc. The capture of carbon and the production of water and assist the aquiferous manta. The world bank pays large subsidies for reforrestation to capture carbon and the best tree for this is the Pawlonia. Waterharvesting projects ,such as millions of small dams.to redirect over ground waterflows from the rains into the ground to supply subteranian water supplies. The protection of existing forests. Stop building more highways, urban planning to include vegetation stop building cities encourage people to return to the land to conduct their business from there which now has become possible thanks to the internet. Education to motivate people to auto sufficiency by building more home food gardens. Education on environmental awareness. Education on family planning to curb over´populaion. Agricultural education and improvements to follow the principals or sustainability and soil management. More environmental or land ,design to prevent bush fires, such as--fire breaks, more dams.regulations and control for public behaviour. Alternative effeciant public transport to discourage the use of the internal conbustion engine, recycling wastes and limit water use.

Well, techically speaking when the carbon-di-oxide content in earth atmosphere increases, it increases the earth temprature, also termed as green house effect. The rising tempratures all over the worl, in turn cause the ice present in mountains, hills and glaciers to melt at a higher rate. This melting triggers a rise in sea-levels. And if the level of sea-water rises then low level areas such as a country like Japan would face a terror of immersing in water. So this my friend is global warming and its threat.

Global warming means the raise in average world temperature over years. This current warming is attributed to human interference. But natural events can also create global warming, like large volcano eruptions, very large fires over very large area, etc

Well...I'm not sure why your news reports haven't covered this before, but "global warming" has been in the news here (USA) for quite some time, and there are several groups who are pushing hard for policy makers to mandate changes to the "status quo", as it is felt (and science has essentially "proven") much of the "global warming" is largely due to some of our current practices of burning so much fossil fuel, which builds "smog", which sets up a "greenhouse effect", which warms the near-surface temperatures of the planet. WikipediA explains "global warming" as follows: "Global warming is the increase in the average temperature of the Earth's near-surface air and oceans in recent decades and its projected continuation." There are lots of websites dealing with global warming. Here are a few: http://www.stopglobalwarming.org/ http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/ http://www.climatehotmap.org/ Good luck!
