Do you read your local newspaper? I think I picked up the habit of reading the local paper from my parents. My kids also look at the newspaper when it comes. Many people at work have admitted that they have never even paid any attention to the local paper. They say they learn what is going on from everyone around them. I figure they most know alot of people to find out what is going on!

I read the local paper and I aslo subscribe to the newspaper from the town where we used to live, and if I can I also read the paper from surounding towns. Sometimes I find some good sales or coupons, reading the paper from my husbands hometown keeps us up to date about going ons there so when we visit we will know whats going on there.

I'm a coupon clipper! One of the biggest reasons I get the paper on Sunday's is for the coupons alone.

I have a 4yr old son, so I can no longer watch the news on TV, as he is like a sponge and absorbs everything. Therefore, I have the paper delivered daily, and read it everyday. It would probably be less stressful not knowing what was going on in the world around us, but I wouldn't like not knowing.

I don't read the newspaper but I keep uptodate by the television and the internet. The newspaper by the time it has come out the news on televison has already covered the events. And the internet is even faster. I subscribed for a piece of time a while back and it just sat on the table. I never read it and so I canceled my subscription. I think television and internet is the best way as far as keeping uptodate.
