How do you handle stress?

It seems more and more you hear of people with high blood pressure and heart attacks at a young age. Many say this is stress induced. Is it because we are leading such fast paced lives and we feel stressed if we can't keep up with the Jone's? So what do you do when you are stressed? Do you hold it in? Do you rant and rave? Do you talk about it with someone that can help you? If I am really stressed I have a few avenues that I use. I either cry to get it out, the movie Beaches will always bring on a good cry for me. I go to bed, yes some think I love to sleep but I think I sleep to escape. I also will soak in a hot bubble bath surrounded by candles with no over head light on. These things seem to help me. What do you do when you are under stress?

I know that, when I'm angry, all I need to do is calm myself down. I don't yell, I don't punch... I just breath slowly, start playing Guitar, doing something that can calm me down. If I get angry, I know that it's because there is a problem. Then, all I have to do is solve this problem. When I solve it, done! I'm not angry anymore. When I'm angry, I store this anger inside me. The next time I get angry, I'll gather all the anger inside me. WIch means I'll be almost exploding. I keep gathering. When I am playing soccer, I find a way to get angry and I release it all: I make lots of goals, work as a goalkeeper, do everything, just using my anger.

I very rarely get stressed out. LOL Not sure why but I don't worry or fret about too much If it is a real problem I come and tell my hubby He worries enough for the both of us. Oh yeah he has high blood pressure and cholestral cause of it. He cna't sleep nites if he worries Now I am trying not to tell him if I frustrated over a problem. I sleep on it and that takes it away Wendy
