Disagreeing is healthy, going ballistic.....is that?

Strangely enough had a little incident today when I answered a post and got a really trite answer. Well, you could say it was more like an implosion really. Now I cannot say I was personally attacked over the answer. Nor was I directly insulted. It was just a barrage of "freaking out". Now then, I know we are civil here and we disagree. Cool. My question basically is this:When a post pushes a button, can you help yourself from going postal in your reply?I try to reply in a calm and rational manner but state my opinions anyway? How do you handle this? Have you ever lost it and vented over something trivial? Remember, you asked the question.
