Just a note to everybody who is concerned about global warming or climate change. Glenn Beck is presenting a TV special tomorrow night on CNN at 7, 9, and Midnight Eastern. It is supposed to be the other side of Global Climate Change. It's not going to be fair and balanced, instead, he's promoting it as an response to "an inconvenient truth." Anyone interesting in seriously discussing this vital issue ought to at least check out his claims. We've been spoon fed one side of this debate fore years, we owe it to ourselves and our posterity to hear the other side too.

I watched Glenn Beck's special and I wasn't very blown away. It was on Headline News, not CNN - just to point it out incase someone was wanting to catch a rerun of it. It seemed to me that most of his info against the issue was dated and he just went round and round with the same issue. I believe that a lot of "An Inconvenient Truth" is bogus and unjustified, especially due to the actions of the former Vice-President during the initial Kyoto summit discussions. What sense does it mame to have an attitude of "we don't have to listen if they (the budding new nations) don't have to listen"? It doesn't make any sense. I think that Beck's perspective was (obviously) different than Gore's, but I didn't feel that it shed any light onto the matter. I think if people are truly interested in Global Warming and the effects of it and what we can do to stop it, they need to look at it for themselves. Don't rely on people who are trying to champion a cause in order to gain publicity for themselves. What ever happened to doing some good old fashioned thinking for yourself?
